Felicity Pulman , author of the Shallot and Janna Series shared her love of history with Ms.Harte’s Year 9 Class and discussed the creative writing processes.
It is people who make History interesting – how they see themselves, their aspirations , ambitions and what they are prepared to do in order to achieve their dreams.
Ms. Pulman discussed the creative writing process and showed the students photos of locations in her novels- places she wanted to visit before she  described them in her novels.
Also the students saw the art works depicting famous historical and or mythical figures which impacted on the author’s imagination.
Students who like historical fiction especially the Middle Ages will really enjoy her books.
