Ku-ring-gai is a co-educational school that offers a wide range of opportunities for boys and girls to learn together in a supportive and cooperative working environment. Students choose to study a Ku-ring-gai Creative Arts High School in recognition of its high expectations of student performance and comprehensive academic and creative opportunities.

The Schools organisation is centered on meeting the teaching and learning needs of students and staff. Staff are encouraged and supported by a comprehensive Professional Learning plan which provides students with what we believe to be amongst the best of teaching and learning practises. Our educational philosophy centres on ensuring we are providing the best opportunities for our students, supported by comprehensive and consistent school evaluation processes and review of programs and support within the school.

Staff, parents and students work together to maximise student potential. the school enjoys outstanding community support and the ethos of the school is to foster a strong working relationship between students, teachers and parents based on mutual respect and a desire to facilitate achievement. The uniqueness of the schools setting and opportunities in the curriculum provides for a wonderful and exciting opportunity for students to participate in learning.
